The goal
What we found
You have 479 Google reviews. Your website says 127.
What it costs: A customer choosing between three electricians compares review counts. Yours says 127 when the real number is 479. You're losing comparisons you'd actually win, using a number that stopped being true years ago.
The fix: Replace every hardcoded figure with a live feed from Google. Put 4.8 and 479 in the first screen.
Your electrical ad runs on your plumbing company's Google listing
What it costs: A customer searching for an electrician sees a plumbing business name and category telling them to call an electrician. That hesitation, working out if they've found the right business, is a lost job.
The fix: Run the electrical ads against the Hilton Electrical profile, with its own 479 reviews and Electrician category showing.
Your robots.txt file belongs to the plumbing website
What it costs: Google is being sent to another company's domain to find your sitemap. The 202 location pages you've already built are undeclared, so Google has to find them the slow way.
The fix: Rewrite robots.txt for the electrical site and point the sitemap directive at your own file. Ten minutes.
29 live ads land on a page that leads with a discount and buries the reviews
What it costs: $0 call out is a discount, and any competitor can copy it tomorrow. 4.8 from 479 reviews is a moat nobody can copy at all, and you're leading 29 paid ads with the thing that's easy to match.
The fix: Put "4.8 stars from 479 Google reviews" in the same first screen as the $0 call out promise.
The maths
One fix, done for you
Hey, thanks for taking a look at the audit.
I only spent about half an hour on your digital presence and found these four things. They're not the biggest issues out there, but they all add up to how you rank and how you show up online.
If you want to go deeper, I'd love to take a proper look at your paid ads, specifically Google and Meta, and hear a bit about your business and where you want to take it, whether there's a revenue number you're chasing. We specialise in Perth service businesses, tradies and schools included.
If any of this is worth a conversation, send me a message below and I'll give you a call.
Thanks,
Chris
